Our Mission
The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization that strengthens our communities, states and nation with programs and services for our veterans, the military, and their families. The American Legion Grady Mabry Post 506 located at 21 Peachtree St SW, Rome, Georgia, 30161 Grady Mabry Post 506 is committed to mentoring youth and sponsoring wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism, and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.
Grady Mabry Post 506 can help veterans with health care, jobs, get the benefits they deserve, help the family members of the veterans, offer support after end of service and much more. The American Legion can serve and care for both male veterans as well as for women veterans. We give the community the chance to show its gratefulness and respect for the services done by the veterans. We strive to uphold the values of freedom and democracy, ensuring that no veteran is left behind.
